Terms of Service
Last updated: [YYYY-MM-DD]
These terms explain how service works—pricing, appointments, remote access, and limitations—so everything stays clear and fair.
1) Services
Anytime Computer Service provides on-site and remote technical support for residential and small business clients, including troubleshooting, setup, cleanup guidance, and general IT assistance.
2) Remote support rules
- You control access. You can end the session at any time.
- Remote sessions are best for software and guidance—not hardware repairs.
- We may recommend an on-site visit if remote support is not suitable.
3) Pricing & payment
- Rates and minimums are shown on the Pricing page or confirmed before service begins.
- Payment is due at completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- After-hours, emergency, or travel fees may apply when disclosed in advance.
We keep pricing transparent—if something changes, we tell you before proceeding.
4) Scheduling, cancellations & no-shows
- Please give notice if you need to reschedule.
- Missed appointments or late cancellations may be charged a trip/service fee.
- We’ll always aim to be reasonable—communication is what matters most.
5) Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate information about the issue and device.
- Back up important data before service whenever possible.
- Maintain valid software licenses and passwords needed for authorized troubleshooting.
6) Data & device risk
Computers can fail unexpectedly, and some issues involve risk (especially malware cleanup, failing drives, or corrupted systems). While we take care, you agree that we are not responsible for data loss caused by pre-existing conditions, device failure, or third-party software—unless caused by proven negligence.
7) Limits of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service related to the claim.
8) Website use
- Do not attempt to disrupt the website or misuse forms/communications.
- Third-party links (like Google Reviews) are provided for convenience; their policies apply.
9) Updates to these terms
We may update these Terms. The date above shows when the latest version was posted.
